Our Story

Karson L Beckstrom, founder of White Diamond Botanicals, began his life in a small agriculture community in North Dakota. While growing up he worked for his family owned farm and tire recycling business. Starting from a young age, and working from the bottom up, he learned the value of hardwork.

Karson then left his home to attend North Dakota State University with a dream. His dream was simply to help people be happy. Half way through college his dream began to form into reality as he realized that healthy people were happy people. He began independently studying psychology, pharmacognosy, and researching alternative forms of medicine. His research led him into the Department of Plant Sciences where he began working as a Research Assistant. Karson, under the wing of Dr. Chiwon Lee, researched and published multiple scientific papers ranging from Germination Rates of Honeylocust, to Soil Amendments in Organic Field Crops, to Increasing Iron Content in Hydroponic Lettuce for Nutritional Value. Throughout his studies, Karson discovered the amazing attributes cannabis contained and its miraculous entwinement with mankind. Whether used for curing physical disease, mental disease, or just simply helping people unwind from a stressful day, cannabis is an amazing tool to contribute to one's health and wellbeing. In 2011, Karson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture Production and Business as well as a Diploma in Landscape and Garden Center Technician.

Upon graduation, Karson packed up his car and moved to Colorado in pursuit of starting a cannabis company. Although starting anew was difficult at times, the value of hard work Karson learned as a child pushed him through. After many years of tireless research, planning, and development, Karson was able to obtain a small plot of land in Pueblo West, and build from scratch a state of the art marijuana cultivation greenhouse.
